* Section 12-A-304. Effectiveness of Actions Taken Before Effective\nDate.\n (a) Pre-effective-date action; attachment and perfection before\nadjustment date. If action, other than the filing of a financing\nstatement, is taken before the effective date of the UCC Revision Act\nand the action would have resulted in perfection of the security\ninterest had the security interest become enforceable before the\neffective date of the UCC Revision Act, the action is effective to\nperfect a security interest that attaches under the revised UCC before\nthe adjustment date. An attached security interest becomes unperfected\non the adjustment date unless the security interest becomes a perfected\nsecurity interest under the revised UCC before the adjustment date.\n (b) Pre-effective-date filing.
