* § 97-iiii. Patient safety center account.

1.There is hereby\nestablished in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the\ncommissioner of taxation and finance an account of the miscellaneous\nspecial revenue fund to be known as the "patient safety center account."\n 2. Such account shall consist of monies received from civil penalties\nin excess of two thousand dollars per violation pursuant to subdivision\none of section twelve of the public health law and subdivision two of\nsection twelve-b of the public health law.\n 3. Moneys of this account, following appropriations by the\nlegislature, shall be available to the department of health for the\npatient safety center created by title two of article twenty-nine-D of\nthe public health law.\n * NB Expires April 1, 2026\n
