§ 54-h. State aid to local governments for housing maintenance code\nenforcement.
1.The commissioner of housing and community renewal shall\ngrant state aid to cities in the amount of fifty per centum of the\namount of money expended from funds raised by taxes imposed by such city\nduring the city fiscal year, up to a maximum amount of eight million\ndollars in any one year, by a city of over one million population by the\ndepartment of housing preservation and development for enforcement of\nthe multiple dwelling law and any other provision of law, rule or\nregulation in relation to the maintenance, use, occupancy, safety,\nsanitary condition and inspection of any building or portion thereof\nwhich is occupied or arranged or intended to be occupied as the home,\nresidence of one or mor
