§ 54-g. State assistance to local governments for support of\nactivities related to fire prevention and building codes.

1.Beginning\nin March, nineteen hundred eighty-two and annually thereafter, each\ncity, village, and town shall receive from moneys appropriated by the\nstate in support of activities related to the administration and\nenforcement in the previous calendar year of fire prevention and\nbuilding codes the sum of the amounts computed in paragraphs a and b\nbelow.\n a. One-half the amount appropriated multiplied by the proportion which\nthe population of the city, village or town outside a village bears to\nthe population of the state taken as a whole.\n b. One-half the amount appropriated multiplied by the proportion which\nthe full value of the city, village or town out
