§ 2404. Expenses\n Where upon the application of any party the surrogate or any of the\npersonnel of the court goes to a place other than the court in order to\ntake testimony or to produce records or for any purpose required by law,\nthe person so going shall be paid by such party his actual and necessary\nexpenses.\n
