§ 1111. Vacancy in office; delivery of money, papers and effects\n 1. Whenever a public administrator shall resign or be removed from\nhis office he shall immediately deliver over to his successor all\npapers, moneys and effects in his hands.\n 2. In case of the death of a public administrator the persons into\nwhose custody or possession any such papers, money or effects may come\nshall deliver them on demand to his successor.\n 3. Delivery may be enforced in the manner provided by law in relation\nto public officers.\n 4. The successor upon qualifying shall succeed at once to all the\nrights, duties and powers of his predecessor in office without the\nreissuance of letters to him.\n
