§ 519. Effect of other laws.

1.Any other provision of this chapter,\nof the state education law or of the administrative code of the city of\nNew York, or rules and regulations thereunder, relating to the\nreemployment of retired members, transfer of members and reserves\nbetween systems and procedural matters shall apply to members covered\nunder this article during the duration thereof unless inconsistent\nherewith.\n 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law;\n (i) If a person who last became a member of a public retirement system\nof the state before July first, nineteen hundred seventy-three retires,\nsuch person shall, upon re-entry to membership in a public retirement\nsystem of the state, be subject to all retirement rights, privileges and\nobligations which would pertain
