§ 410-c. Deduction of dues and insurance premiums from benefits of\ncertain retired members enrolled in the New York state and local police\nand fire retirement system. Notwithstanding any other provision of law\nto the contrary, the comptroller is hereby authorized to deduct from the\nretirement allowance of any retired member enrolled in the New York\nstate and local police and fire retirement system an amount of\nmembership dues as the retired member may specify in writing filed with\nthe comptroller for the payment of such employee organization membership\ndues and premiums for employee organizations sponsored group insurance\nplans. Any such written authorization may be withdrawn by such retired\nmember at any time upon filing written notice of such withdrawal with\nthe comptroller
