§ 214-b. Pension rights of certain retired persons who are appointed\nto the office of New York city marshal.
a.Notwithstanding the\nprovisions of this chapter or the provisions of any state or local law\nor charter to the contrary, no retired person who retired from (1) the\nNew York city police pension fund, (2) the New York city employees'\nretirement system as (A) a member of the uniformed force of the New York\ncity department of correction, or (B) an employee of the city of New\nYork in the title of deputy city sheriff level one, deputy city sheriff\nlevel two, supervising deputy sheriff or administrative sheriff, or (3)\nthe New York city fire department pension fund in a title in the fire\nmarshal occupational group, and who is appointed to the office of New\nYork city marshal,
