§ 1321. Election of benefit enhancements.
a.The city of New York may\nelect to provide its employees the benefit enhancements provided for in\nsection thirteen hundred twenty-two of this article.\n b. A separate election to provide benefit enhancements pursuant to\nsubdivision a of this section must be made for each specific collective\nbargaining organization, recognized or certified pursuant to article\nfourteen of the civil service law.\n c. Such election may be made at the sole discretion of the mayor of\nthe city of New York to the retirement systems upon receipt of a request\nfrom the collective bargaining organization, recognized or certified\npursuant to article fourteen of the civil service law to represent such\neligible employees.
