§ 396. Duplicate certificate of title. The registrar shall, upon the\nrequest by the owner in writing, make out an exact duplicate thereof,\nwith the memorials and notations thereon noted, which will be the\nowner's proof of ownership for the property, and forward the same to the\nowner. This duplicate shall be known as the owner's duplicate\ncertificate of title, and shall be plainly stamped across its face. Only\none owner's duplicate certificate of title shall be issued. Replacement\nof such document shall be made in the manner prescribed under section\nfour hundred fourteen of this chapter. Said request for owner's\nduplicate certificate of title shall be in the form annexed hereto. At\nthe time of filing, two copies of the deed shall be submitted, a copy of\nthe deed shall be confo
