* § 344-g. Conveyance and encumbrance as real property. Upon\nsatisfaction of the conditions provided in section three hundred\nforty-four-b of this article, any mortgage, lien or security interest\nwhich can attach to land, buildings erected thereon or fixtures affixed\nthereto, shall attach, as of the date of recording in the same manner as\nreal property. Title to such manufactured home shall be transferred by\ndeed or other form of conveyance that is effective to transfer an\ninterest in real property, together with the land to which such\nstructure is affixed. The manufactured home shall be deemed to be real\nproperty and shall be governed by the laws of this state applicable to\nreal property.\n * NB Effective December 12, 2026\n
