§ 3517 — Separability
§ 3517. Separability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or\npart of this article shall be adjudged by any court of competent\njurisdiction to be invalid, the judgment shall not affect, impair, or\ninvalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation\nto the clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part thereof directly\ninvolved in the controversy in which the judgment shall have been\nrendered.\n
