§ 2803-l. Community service plans.

1.The governing body of a\nvoluntary non-profit general hospital must issue an organizational\nmission statement identifying at a minimum the populations and\ncommunities served by the hospital and the hospital's commitment to\nmeeting the health care needs of the community.\n 2. The governing body must at least every three years:\n (i) review and amend as necessary the hospital mission statement;\n (ii) solicit the views of the communities served by the hospital on\nsuch issues as the hospital's performance and service priorities;\n (iii) demonstrate the hospital's operational and financial commitment\nto meeting community health care needs, to provide charity care services\nand to improve access to health care services by the underserved; and\n
