§ 279 — Prescriber education

§ 279. Prescriber education. The department shall develop in\ncollaboration with an academic institution a program designed to provide\nprescribers with an evidence-based, non-commercial source of the latest\nobjective information about pharmaceuticals. Information shall be\npresented to prescribers by specially-trained pharmacists, nurses or\nother health professionals to assist the prescriber in making\nappropriate therapeutic recommendations.\n
