* § 265. Definition. As used or referred to in this title, unless a\ndifferent meaning clearly appears from the context "stem cell" means\nstem or progenitor cells that divide and are capable of generating one\nor more different types of progeny. Stem cells and their progeny can\npotentially repair or replace specific tissues or be used to develop\ndisease models.\n * NB Repealed December 31, 2025\n
