§ 2633. Acquisition and application of property. Subject to the\nregulations of the department, the board of visitors or the duly\nappointed treasurer of the homes, as agent of the department, may\nreceive, retain and expend receipts other than state appropriations, any\nmoney or other personal property given, bequeathed or entrusted to the\nboard of visitors or duly appointed treasurer, for the purposes for\nwhich it is given or bequeathed to the homes or entrusted for\nsafekeeping or, if unaccompanied by conditions or limitations, for any\nof the purposes of the homes or for the convenience of the residents\nthereof.\n
