§ 226. Transfer of records. The division of housing in the executive\ndepartment is hereby continued. Notwithstanding the provisions of the\nstate housing law, the term of office of all members of the state\nhousing board in existence prior to the enactment of this chapter and of\nofficers and employees of such board shall expire on July first,\nnineteen hundred thirty-nine. All of the files, papers, documents and\nproperty of the state housing board in existence prior to the enactment\nof this chapter shall be transferred to the commissioner.\n
