§ 5. Quarters for Veterans of Foreign Wars. There shall be set aside,\nwhen available, suitably furnished space by the commissioner of general\nservices, in the capitol, for the use as quarters of the Veterans of\nForeign Wars of the United States, department of New York, in the\ntransaction of its business and preservation of its records. Such\nquarters shall be under the charge of the commander of veterans of\nforeign wars of the United States, department of New York, and such\nofficers who are members of such department as he or his successor may\nappoint.\n
