  § 551. Definitions. As used or referred to in this title, unless a\ndifferent meaning clearly appears from the context,\n  1. The term "authority" shall mean the Triborough bridge and tunnel\nauthority, the corporation organized pursuant to section five hundred\nfifty-two of this chapter as consolidated pursuant to section five\nhundred fifty-two-a of this chapter;\n  2. The term "city" shall mean the city of New York;\n  3. The term "bonds" shall mean bonds issued by the authority pursuant\nto this title or by authorities consolidated with the authority;\n  4. The term "board" shall mean the members of the authority;\n  5. The term "comptroller" shall mean the comptroller of the city;\n  6. The term "the project" shall mean any project or one or more or all\nof the projects described in

The term "parkway" shall include elevated, surface or subsurface\nparkways and parking fields and other facilities connected therewith,\nand any bridge, viaduct, embankment or other structure that is part\nthereof or crosses the same;\n 8. The term "highway" shall mean any road, street, avenue or\nboulevard, whether elevated, surface or subsurface, and includes any\nparking fields and other facilities connected therewith and any bridge,\nviaduct, embankment or other structure that is a part thereof or crosses\nthe same.\n 9. The term "metropolitan transportation authority" shall mean the\ncorporation created by section twelve hundred sixty-three of this\nchapter.\n 10. The term "New York city transit authority" shall mean the\ncorporation created by section twelve hundred one of this chapter.\n
