  § 356-b. Thruway to be designated as a section of a national network\nof Blue Star memorial highways. The thruway sections and connections\nconstructed as provided in section three hundred fifty-six,\ncollectively, shall be designated, in addition to any official name, as\nthe New York state section of a national network of Blue Star memorial\nhighways as a living memorial and tribute to those men and women who\nserved in the nation's armed forces in world wars I and II, the Korean\nconflict, the Vietnam conflict, the Grenadan conflict, the Lebanese\nconflicts, the Panamanian conflict and the Persian Gulf War known as\nOperation Desert Shield - Operation Desert Storm.\n
