§ 1021-a. Definitions. As used or referred to in this title, unless a\ndifferent meaning clearly appears from the context:\n 1. "Municipality" means any county, city, town, village, municipal\ncorporation, school district or other political subdivision of the\nstate, including any agency, authority or public corporation of the\nstate or any of the foregoing, or any combination thereof, other than\nthe authority.\n 11. "Property" means the power distribution system or systems of the\nauthority, whether completed facilities or projects in construction,\nwhether situated within or without the territorial limits of the service\narea, including the plants, works, structures, poles, lines, conduits,\nmains, systems, instrumentalities or parts thereof and appurtenances\nthereto, lands, franchises and interest in land, including lands under\nwater and riparian rights, space rights and air rights, contract rights,\nsubstations, and distribution facilities, or any other property\nincidental to and included in such system or part thereof, and any\nimprovements, extensions or betterments. The term "property" shall also\ninclude any and all interests in real property less than full title,\nsuch as easements, rights of way, uses, leases, licenses and all other\nincorporeal hereditaments and every estate, interest or right, legal or\nequitable, including terms for years and liens thereon by way of\njudgments, mortgages or otherwise, and also all claims for damages\nrelated to such real estate.\n 12. "Revenues" means all rates, rents, fees, charges, payments and\nother income and receipts derived by the authority from the operation of\nthe properties of the authority other than the proceeds of the sales of\nits securities, including, but not limited to, investment proceeds and\nproceeds of insurance, condemnation, and sales or other disposition of\nassets, together with all federal, state or municipal aid.\n 13. "Security" means any bond, note or other obligation issued by the\nauthority.\n 14. "State" means the state of New York.\n 15. "State agency" means any board, authority, agency, department,\ncommission, public corporation, body politic or instrumentality of the\nstate.\n
