§ 15.01 Allocation of monies.
1.The moneys received by the state from\nthe sale of bonds sold pursuant to the park and recreation land\nacquisition bond acts of nineteen hundred sixty and nineteen hundred\nsixty-two shall be expended for the following purposes in the following\namounts, as heretofore established:\n (a) For the acquisition of real property for state park purposes,\nthirty million dollars ($30,000,000.00);\n (b) For the acquisition of real property for other than state park or\nmunicipal park purposes, to provide additional opportunities for outdoor\nrecreation, including public camping, fishing, hunting, boating, winter\nsports, and, wherever possible, to also serve multiple purposes\ninvolving the conservation and development of natural resources,\nincluding the prese

The moneys received by the state from\nthe sale of bonds sold pursuant to the park and recreation land\nacquisition bond acts of nineteen hundred sixty and nineteen hundred\nsixty-two shall be expended for the following purposes in the following\namounts, as heretofore established:\n (a) For the acquisition of real property for state park purposes,\nthirty million dollars ($30,000,000.00);\n (b) For the acquisition of real property for other than state park or\nmunicipal park purposes, to provide additional opportunities for outdoor\nrecreation, including public camping, fishing, hunting, boating, winter\nsports, and, wherever possible, to also serve multiple purposes\ninvolving the conservation and development of natural resources,\nincluding the preservation of scenic areas, watershed protection,\nforestry and reforestation, twenty million dollars ($20,000,000.00);\n (c) For state aid in the amount of seventy-five percent of the cost of\nacquisition of real property for parks by cities other than the city of\nNew York, or by improvement districts within cities other than the city\nof New York, twelve million dollars ($12,000,000.00);\n (d) For state aid in the amount of seventy-five percent of the cost of\nacquisition of real property for parks by the city of New York, or by\nimprovement districts therein, seventeen million dollars\n($17,000,000.00);\n (e) For state aid in the amount of seventy-five per cent of the cost\nof acquisition of land for parks by counties, towns and villages, or by\nimprovement districts therein, twenty-one million dollars\n($21,000,000.00).\n (f) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraphs (c) and (e) of this\nsubdivision, in the case of neighborhood parks established or expanded\npursuant to paragraph (c) of subdivision three of section 15.05, such\ntotal unencumbered on subsequent unencumbered sum as of July first,\nnineteen hundred seventy-six, reserved out of the funds provided in\nparagraph (c) of this subdivision shall be expended for state aid in the\namount of seventy-five percent of the cost of acquisition of real\nproperty for neighborhood parks by any cities other than the city of New\nYork, counties, towns or villages, or by improvement districts therein\npursuant to paragraph (b) of subdivision two of section 15.03.\n 2. The unused or unobligated balance of any amount to be expended\npursuant to subdivision one of this section for a specific purpose may\nbe allocated by the governor, upon the recommendation of the\ncommissioner, to one or more other purposes set forth in such\nsubdivision, provided that the amount to be expended for any one purpose\nshall not be reduced or increased by more than thirty per cent. Such\nallocation of any unused or unobligated balance shall be evidenced by\nthe certificate of the governor filed with the state comptroller and the\ndirector of the budget.\n 3. For the purpose of computing the grant of aid made by the state to\na municipality, the cost of acquisition shall be not more than the\namount set forth in the application for state aid made by the\nmunicipality and approved by the commissioner pursuant to subdivision\ntwo of section 15.03, plus any direct incidental costs approved by the\nstate comptroller.\n
