§ 728-a. Limitation of prosecutions under this article. A prosecution\nfor a misdemeanor consisting of a violation of any provision of article\ntwenty-A of the labor law must be commenced within two years after the\nfacts constituting the crime have been or, in the exercise of reasonable\ndiligence, should have been discovered by the industrial commissioner or\nby an officer or employee in the department of labor charged with the\nresponsibility of investigating matters reported or required to be\nreported to the industrial commissioner pursuant to such article.\n
