§ 329. Designation of temporary stenographer in special cases. If,\npursuant to law, the attorney general or a deputy attorney general,\nattend before the grand jury in any county, the attorney general may\nappoint a temporary stenographer to take the testimony given before the\ngrand jury in respect of matters or investigations before the grand jury\nconducted by the attorney general or such deputy attorney general, and\nmay fix his compensation. Every such appointee before he enters upon the\nduties of his office shall take and subscribe the constitutional oath of\noffice, and shall make oath before the county clerk of such county that\nhe will keep secret all matters and things occurring before such grand\njury.
