§ 13-a. Power to remove certain officers and to appoint successors. A\nreferee, receiver, commissioner or appraiser appointed by a court or\njudge may be removed by the same court or judge. In case of the death,\nresignation, removal, or neglect or refusal to serve of any such\nofficer, another person may be appointed in his stead.\n
