§ 445. Display of American flag on uniforms of public employees.\nNotwithstanding any other law, any public employee required to wear a\nuniform during the course of public employment shall not be deemed to\nviolate any law, rule, code or regulation regulating the style or\nappearance of uniform solely by virtue of the display on the shoulder\narea of the sleeve of such uniform of an American flag not larger than\nthree inches by five inches. The exact location of the flag on the\nsleeve may be specified by the appropriate executive officer.\n
