§ 906. Driver's license verification; data retention.

1.A\npeer-to-peer car sharing program administrator shall not enter into a\npeer-to-peer car sharing program agreement with a driver unless the\ndriver who will operate the shared vehicle furnishes proof, by\nelectronic means or otherwise, of:\n (a) a valid New York driver's license which authorizes the driver to\noperate vehicles of the class of the shared vehicle;\n (b) a valid driver's license issued by the state or country of the\ndriver's residence which authorizes the driver in such state or country\nto drive vehicles of the class of the shared vehicle and is the age\nrequired of a New York resident to operate that class of vehicle; or\n (c) being otherwise specifically authorized by a valid license to\noperate vehicles of t
