§ 771. Contract provisions.
1.Every home improvement contract subject\nto the provisions of this article, and all amendments thereto, shall be\nevidenced by a writing and shall be signed by all the parties to the\ncontract. The writing shall contain the following:\n (a) The name, address, telephone number and license number, if\napplicable, of the contractor.\n (b) The approximate dates, or estimated dates, when the work will\nbegin and be substantially completed, including a statement of any\ncontingencies that would materially change the approximate or estimated\ncompletion date. In addition to the estimated or approximate dates, the\ncontract shall also specify whether or not the contractor and the owner\nhave determined a definite completion date to be of the essence.\n (c) A des
