§ 359-a. Appointment of deputies. For the purposes of this article,\nthe attorney-general may in his discretion, and without civil service\nexamination, appoint and employ, and at pleasure remove, such deputies,\nofficers and other persons as he deems necessary, and determine their\nduties and fix their compensation.\n
