* § 1425. Severability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph,\nsubdivision, section or part of this article shall be adjudged by any\ncourt of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not\naffect, impair, or invalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be\nconfined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph,\nsubdivision, section, or part thereof directly involved in the\ncontroversy in which such judgment shall have been made.\n * NB Effective March 19, 2026\n
