* § 1420. Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms\nshall have the following meanings:\n 1. "Appropriate redactions" means redactions to a safety and security\nprotocol that a developer may make when necessary to:\n (a) protect public safety to the extent the developer can reasonably\npredict such risks;\n (b) protect trade secrets;\n (c) prevent the release of confidential information as required by\nstate or federal law;\n (d) protect employee or customer privacy; or\n (e) prevent the release of information otherwise controlled by state\nor federal law.\n 2. "Artificial intelligence" means a machine-based system that can,\nfor a given set of human-defined objectives, make predictions,\nrecommendations, or decisions influencing real or virtual environments,\nand
