* § 876. Definitions. When used in this article:\n 1. "Office" means the office of business permits created by this\narticle.\n 2. "Director" means the director of the office of business permits.\n 3. "State agency" means any department, board, bureau, commission,\ndivision, office, council or agency of the state, or a public benefit\ncorporation or public authority at least one of whose members is\nappointed by the governor.\n 4. "Permit" means the whole or part of any state agency permit,\nlicense, certificate, approval, registration, charter, or similar form\nof permission required by law or by state agency rules and regulations\nhaving the force and effect of law.\n 5.
