§ 743. Removal and vacancies. Any member may be removed by the\ngovernor for cause, an opportunity having been given him to be heard. A\nmember who fails to attend three consecutive regular meetings of the\nboard, unless excused by formal vote of the board, shall be deemed to\nhave vacated his position.\n
