§ 61 — Solicitor general

§ 61. Solicitor general. There shall be in the department of law a\nsolicitor general who shall be appointed by the attorney-general and who\nshall perform such duties in the place and stead of the attorney-general\nas may lawfully be assigned to him. The attorney-general shall fix his\ncompensation within the amounts appropriated therefor.\n
