§ 517. Commissaries. The director of the division for youth may\nauthorize the director of any facility operated by the division to\nestablish a commissary in such facility for the use of residents and\nemployees. The moneys received by the director of the division from the\nsales of the commissary shall be deposited in a special fund to be known\nas the commissary fund and such funds shall be used for the general\npurposes of the facilities subject to the provisions of section\nfifty-three of the state finance law.\n
