§ 43-0103. Definitions.\n As used in this article:\n 1. "Lake George park" means the bed, waters, islands, and shore of\nLake George and all land in the counties of Essex, Warren and Washington\nsurrounding said lake and situate within the following described\nboundaries:\n Beginning at the southwesterly corner of lot 18 of the Crane Brush\nPatent in the northerly bounds of the Ogilvie Patent, running from\nthence northerly along the westerly bounds of the said lot 18 and the\neasterly bounds of lot 11 of the said Crane Brush Patent, to the\nnorthwesterly corner of the said lot 18 and the northeasterly corner of\nthe said lot 11; thence westerly along the northerly bounds of the said\nlot 11 to the southeasterly corner of lot 12, Crane Brush Patent; thence\nnortherly along the easterly bounds of the said lot 12 to the\nnortheasterly corner thereof in the southerly bounds of lot 13, Crane\nBrush Patent; thence easterly along the southerly bounds of a portion of\nthe southerly bounds of the said lot 13 to the southeasterly corner\nthereof and the southwesterly corner of lot 16, Crane Brush Patent;\nthence northerly along the westerly bounds of the said lot 16 to the\nnorthwesterly corner thereof in the southerly bounds of lot 3, Garland\nPatent; thence easterly along the southerly bounds of lot 3, Garland\nPatent to the southeasterly corner thereof; thence northerly along the\neasterly bounds of the said lot 3 to the northeasterly corner thereof in\nthe southerly bounds of the Norman Patent; thence northerly, crossing\nthe said Norman Patent in a straight line, to the southeasterly corner\nof lot 10, McDonald Patent; thence northerly along the easterly bounds\nof the said lot 10 to the northeasterly corner thereof in the southerly\nbounds of Porter's Patent; thence westerly along the southerly bounds of\nlots 7 and 6, Porter's Patent to the southwesterly corner of the said\nlot 6; thence northerly along the westerly bounds of the said lot 6,\nPorter's Patent, to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence running in\na straight line northerly, crossing the remaining portion of Porter's\nPatent and also crossing Robert's Patent, to the southwesterly corner of\nlot 86, Northwest Bay Tract; thence northwesterly along the westerly\nbounds of lots 86, 91 and 99, Northwest Bay Tract, to the northwesterly\ncorner of the said lot 99; thence easterly along the northerly bounds of\nthe said lot 99 to the southwesterly corner of lot 116, Brant Lake\nTract; thence northerly along the westerly bounds of lots 116, 117, and\n118, Brant Lake Tract, to the northwesterly corner of the said lot 118;\nthence easterly along the northerly bounds of lots 118, and 113, Brant\nLake Tract to the northeasterly corner of the said lot 113; thence\nnortherly along the westerly bounds of lots 87 and 88, Brant Lake Tract,\nto the northwesterly corner of the said lot 88; thence easterly along\nthe northerly bounds of lots 88, 79, 56, 47, 24 and 15, Brant Lake\nTract, to the northeasterly corner of the said lot 15 and to a point in\nthe westerly bounds of the Hague Tract; thence northerly along the\nwesterly bounds of the Hague Tract to the northwesterly corner of lot\n38, Hague Tract; thence easterly along the northerly bounds of the said\nlot 38 to the northeasterly corner thereof; thence northerly along the\nwesterly bounds of a portion of the westerly bounds of lot 37 and the\nwesterly bounds of lot 36, Hague Tract, to the northwesterly corner of\nthe said lot 36; thence easterly along a portion of the northerly bounds\nof the said lot 36 to the southwesterly corner of lot 33, Hague Tract;\nthence northerly along the westerly bounds of lots 33, 30 and a portion\nof lot 29, Hague Tract, to the Warren-Essex County line; thence running\nnortheasterly along the said county line to the center of Trout Brook;\nthence northerly, downstream, along Trout Brook as it winds and turns,\nto the intersection of Trout Brook with State Highway Route 9N; thence\nsouthwesterly along said State Highway to the intersection of the said\nState Highway with Alexandria Avenue south of Ticonderoga Village;\nthence easterly along Alexandria Avenue, crossing the outlet of Lake\nGeorge, and continuing along said Alexandria Avenue and said line\nextended, to the American Telephone and Telegraph Company's telephone\ncable line; thence southerly along said telephone cable line to the\nnorth bounds of lot 77 of the Alexander Turner Patent; thence westerly\nalong the north bounds of lot 77 and lot 79 of said Patent to the\nnorthwest corner of lot 79; thence southerly along the west bounds of\nlots 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, and 84 to the southwest corner of said lot 84;\nthence westerly along the division line between lots 85 and 67 of said\nTurner Patent to the northwest corner of lot 67; thence southerly along\nthe west bounds of lots 67, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of said Turner Patent\nto the division line between the Town of Putnam and the Town of Dresden;\nthence westerly along said town line to the northwest corner of lot 52\nof the aforesaid Turner Patent; thence southerly along the west bounds\nof lots 52, 51, and 50 of said Turner Patent, to the division line\nbetween the Turner Patent and the South Bay Tract; thence southwesterly\nalong said division line to the northwest corner of lot 148, South Bay\nTract; thence southerly along the west bounds of lots 148 and 149 of the\nSouth Bay Tract to the north line of lot 162 of said tract; thence\nwesterly along the north line of said lot 162 to the northwest corner\nthereof; thence southerly along the west bounds of lots 162, 161, 160,\n159, 158 and 44 to the southwest corner of said lot 44; thence westerly\nalong the southerly bounds of lots 39 and 22, South Bay Tract, to the\nsouthwesterly corner of the said lot 22; thence southerly along the\nwesterly bounds of lot 23, South Bay Tract to the southwesterly corner\nthereof; thence westerly along the southerly bounds of lot 12, South Bay\nTract, to the southwesterly corner thereof; Thurman\nFarm to the northwesterly corner of lot 143, Luzerne Tract; thence\neasterly along the northerly bounds of the said lot 143, Luzerne Tract,\nto the northeasterly corner thereof in the westerly bounds of the\nMcCauley Patent; thence northerly along a portion of the McCauley Patent\nto the northwesterly corner thereof; thence easterly along a portion of\nthe northerly bounds of the McCauley Patent to the southwesterly corner\nof lot 6, David Smith Patent; thence easterly along the southerly bounds\nof lots 6, 7, and 22 of the said Smith Patent to the southeasterly\ncorner of the said lot 22; thence northerly along the easterly bounds of\nlots 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, and 15 of the said Smith Patent to the\nnortheasterly corner of the said lot 15 in the southerly bounds of lot\n29 of the James Abeel 3000 acre Patent; thence westerly along a portion\nof the southerly bounds of the said lot 29 to the southwesterly corner\nthereof; thence northerly along the westerly bounds of lots 29, 27, 26,\n22, 21 and 16 of the said James Abeel 3000 acre Patent to the\nnorthwesterly corner of the said lot 16; thence westerly along the\nnortherly bounds of lot 17, of the James Abeel 3000 acre Patent to the\nnorthwesterly corner thereof; thence northerly along the westerly bounds\nof lots 14, 11, 8, 5 and 2 of the James Abeel 3000 acre Patent to a\npoint in the southerly bounds of lot 33, Northwest Bay Tract; thence\nwesterly along a portion of the southerly bounds of the said lot 33 to\nthe southwesterly corner thereof, the same being the southeasterly\ncorner of the John Campbell Patent; thence northerly and northeasterly\nalong the easterly and southeasterly bounds of the said John Campbell\nPatent to the southeasterly corner of the Ogilvie Patent; thence\nnortheasterly along the southeasterly bounds of the said Ogilvie Patent\nto the northeasterly corner thereof at the southeasterly corner of lot\n10 of the Crane Brush Patent; thence westerly along the southerly bounds\nof the said lots 10 and 18 to the point and place of beginning.\n 2. "Zone" means any area of land within the Lake George park in which\nthe use of land for commercial purposes is prohibited, restricted, or\ncontrolled pursuant to the provisions of this article, local law or\nordinance, agreement, restrictive covenant, or otherwise.\n 3. "Commercial purposes" means use of lands, including structures\nthereon for any purpose from which a profit may be derived, other than a\nlease or rental of residential property for single, private family\nresidential purposes.\n 4. "Commission" means the Lake George park commission.\n 5. "Surface water runoff" means water which flows over the land and\ndoes not percolate into the soil.\n 6. "Stormwater runoff" means any surface water runoff or runoff in\nchannels which results directly either from a rain storm or from the\nmelting of snowpack.\n
