§ 13-0347. Management of striped bass in marine waters.\n Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary:\n 1. Striped Bass (Morone saxatilis) taken by hook and line for\nrecreational purposes, shall not be possessed, bought, sold or offered\nfor sale when less than twenty-four inches in total length.\n 2. Striped bass less than twenty-four inches in total length taken by\nother methods including but not limited to gill nets, haul seines and\ntrawl nets shall not be possessed, bought, sold or offered for sale.\n 3. All other striped bass less than legal size shall be returned to\nthe water immediately without unnecessary injury.\n 4. No person shall take or land striped bass in the marine waters of\nNew York state during the period December 15 to April 15 inclusive. For\npurpose
