§ 11-0905. Open hunting seasons and bag limits for upland game birds and\n small game.\n 1. Game of the species listed in column one of the table set forth\nbelow may be taken in the open season or seasons specified in column two\nopposite the name of the species, in the areas for which the open season\nis so specified, or if no area is specified, anywhere in the state. Such\ngame, of the species listed in column one, may be taken to the extent of\nthe bag limits specified in column three opposite the name of the\nspecies. Unless the bag limits are stated separately for different areas\nthey limit the total amount of the species that may be taken by one\nperson in a calendar year, whether hunting is done in one area or more\nthan one area. Where the words "fixed annually by regulation" appear in\ncolumn two or column three, the species may be taken in open seasons,\nand to the extent of bag limits, fixed by such regulations of the\ndepartment pursuant to section 11-0903 or 11-0307.\n 2. They may be taken in any number.\n 4. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of this section or\nsection 11-0903, the department is authorized to adopt regulations with\nrespect to taking of small game and upland game birds by trained raptors\nas provided in title 10 of this article from October first through March\nthirty-first in areas where an open hunting season is established, or if\nno area is specified, anywhere in the state.\n
