§ 11-0309. Extension of open seasons after emergency closing.\n Whenever open seasons for hunting, fishing or trapping have been\ncurtailed by a proclamation of the Governor pursuant to section 9-1101\nof this chapter closing forests and woodlands, or open lands or waters\nto the public, or suspending an open season for taking fish or wildlife,\nbecause of danger of fire, the department, at the expiration of the\neffective period of the proclamation, shall have power, within the\nlimits of counties affected by the proclamation, to extend by regulation\nany open season, for a period not to exceed the effective period of the\nproclamation.\n
