§ 245. Information regarding the home energy assistance program for\nprogram participants.

1.For the purposes of this section, the following\nterms shall have the following meanings:\n (a) "OTDA" shall mean the state office of temporary and disability\nassistance.\n (b) "Home energy assistance program" or "HEAP" shall mean the\nlow-income home energy assistance program implemented pursuant to\nsection ninety-seven of the social services law.\n 2. The department of health shall notify program participants and\nprovide information regarding eligibility and how to apply for the home\nenergy assistance program. Such information shall be provided with each\nelderly pharmaceutical insurance coverage paper application that is\ndistributed and also annually to all program participants.\n 3.
