§ 8352. Definition of athletic training. The practice of the\nprofession of athletic training is defined as:\n 1. The prevention, recognition, examination, evaluation, assessment,\nmanagement, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries;\n 2. The recognition of illness and referral to the appropriate medical\nprofessional with implementation of treatment pursuant to physician's\norders;\n 3. Instruction to coaches, athletes, parents, medical personnel, and\ncommunities in the area of care and prevention of athletic injuries; and\n 4.
