§ 702. Requisites for change.
1.When a text-book shall have been\ndesignated for use in a school district or city as provided in\nsubdivision one of section seven hundred one, it shall not be lawful to\nsupersede such text-book by any other book within a period of five years\nfrom the time of such designation, except upon a three-fourths vote of\nthe board of education, trustees or of such body or officer as performs\nthe function of such board.\n
