§ 315. School district names. Each school district, other than a city\nschool district, shall, in accordance with the commissioner's\nregulations, adopt a simplified name as the legal name of the district.\nSuch name shall be submitted to the commissioner for prior approval and\nwhen such name shall be adopted it shall be filed with the commissioner.\nThe name of a central school district established or reorganized by an\norder of the commissioner pursuant to section eighteen hundred one of\nthis chapter may be changed by the board of education of such district,\nwith the prior approval of the commissioner, upon a written request by\nthe board of education filed with the commissioner not later than\nfourteen days prior to the date of the establishment or reorganization\nof the district a
