§ 253. Citation to attend judicial settlement of accounts of committee\nor conservator. A citation may be issued by the court to all parties\ninterested in the estate of such incompetent person or conservatee, as\ncreditors or otherwise, requiring them to appear in court on some day\ntherein to be specified, to make proof of their several claims if they\nbe creditors, and to show cause why a settlement of accounts and\nproceedings of the committee or conservator up to the date of such\nhearing should not be had, and if no cause be shown, to attend the\nsettlement of such account. All such citations must be returnable in\ncourt, and said court when not otherwise engaged shall always be open\nfor proceedings under this article.
