§ 857 — Complaint and abuse review
§ 857. Complaint and abuse review. Any person may submit to the\ncommission of correction any complaint he or she may have concerning\nprogrammatic abuses. The commission of correction shall evaluate such\ncomplaints and, where indicated, conduct any needed investigation. If\nthe commission concludes that a complaint is valid, the commission shall\nmake recommendations to the department for corrective action. Where the\ncommission believes sufficient evidence exists to support a criminal\ncharge, the commission shall report such evidence to the appropriate law\nenforcement agencies.\n
