§ 171. Purpose of the council. The purposes of the council shall be to\nadvise the commissioner concerning tourism and to serve as liaison\nbetween the state's tourism-related industries and the commissioner with\nrespect to the design and implementation of the state's tourism policies\nand programs.\n
