§ 170. New York state tourism advisory council established.

1.There\nis hereby established in the department the New York state tourism\nadvisory council which shall comprise eighteen members appointed by the\ngovernor, three on the recommendation of the temporary president of the\nsenate; one on the recommendation of the minority leader of the senate;\nthree on the recommendation of the speaker of the assembly; and one on\nthe recommendation of the minority leader of the assembly. The members\nof the council shall serve for terms of two years, provided, however,\nthat of the members first appointed, nine shall serve for terms of two\nyears and nine shall serve for terms of three years.
