§ 942. Duty to furnish facilities for courts of record. Except where\nother provision is made therefor by law, the board of estimate of the\ncity of New York must provide each court of record in such city and the\nresident judges and justices thereof, with proper and convenient rooms\nand furniture, together with court attendants, fuel, lights, telephone,\npostage and stationery suitable and sufficient for the transaction of\nits business.\n
