§ 833. Rifle range in Erie county. The board of supervisors of Erie\ncounty is hereby authorized to purchase land, construct and maintain\nthereon a rifle, machine gun and pistol range primarily for the use of\nNew York national guard, New York guard and New York naval militia. The\nacquisition of the site, construction and maintenance to be subject to\napproval of the chief of staff in accordance with existing rules and\nregulations. Such board may appropriate annually such sums as it may\ndeem proper. The board may cause such moneys to be raised by taxation\nand levied and collected as other taxes in such county or funds may be\nmade available therefor pursuant to the local finance law.\n
